Number 1 of a pair of best English sidelocks with double triggers, auto ejectors and third fastener. The 30 inch Whitworth steel barrels have 2 3/4 inch chambers and 1 1/8 oz proof and have been reproofed in London in 1985 at .740 and .736 hence they measure R/L  bores, .736/.740; chokes .012/.029 and minimum walls, .024 on both. The well figured stock with a round half pistol grip measures 14 1/2 x 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 x 1/4 cast off to a thin horn putt-plate. Weight is 6-5Cased in a period case with spurious label. A classic Birmingham side lock with the full pedigree of a London best gun.
